We are an England Football Accredited Club and acknowledge our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of every child and young person who is entrusted to our care.
Child or young person
A child or young person is anyone under the age of 18 engaged in any Club football activity. We subscribe to The Football Association’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures.
Responsibility
Reporting a concern about a child is everyone’s responsibility. If you have any questions or concerns please contact our club Welfare Officer below.
Whistle blowing
Reveal and raise concerns over misconduct or malpractice. Anyone with concerns can contact The FA’s safeguarding team, the police, children’s social care or the NSPCC.
As a club, we abide by the FA Respect codes of conduct to ensure sure everyone has a good time on and off the pitch.
The codes ensure that we play fairly, by the rules, for the benefit of everyone, and in a positive manner, whether we are players, supporter, or coaches.
There are four codes of conduct; one respect code of conduct for young players, one for spectators and parents, one for coaches, managers and club officials, and one for match officials.
Please download, read, and abide by these every time there is a match. Let’s get behind the FA message of... We only do positive.
The England Football Accreditation is awarded to clubs rigorously adjudged to be well-run and sustainable – and which prioritise child protection, quality coaching and implementation of the Respect programme.
Its goal is to raise standards in grassroots football, support the development of clubs and leagues, recognising and rewarding them for their commitment and achievements.
